1. What type of photography do you specialize in?

I specialize in natural family portraits (at home or outdoors), couples, individual sessions, and sports photography. Whether you're after heartfelt moments or high-energy action shots, I’ve got you covered.

2. Where are you based? Do you travel for shoots?

I’m based in Chelmsford, but I’m happy to travel. Travel fees may apply outside the local area — feel free to ask for a quote.

3. How do I book a session with you?

You can book a session through my Contact Me page or email. Once we confirm your date, a deposit and agreement will secure your session.

4. How far in advance should I book?

To guarantee availability, it's best to book at least 4 weeks in advance — earlier for weekends or special occasions.

5. What’s your photography style?

My style is candid, natural, and documentary. I aim to capture the real moments — the in-between looks, the big laughs, and everything that makes your story unique.

DURING & AFTER THE SHOOT

6. How long does a session last?

Sessions range from 1 hour to 12 hours, depending on your needs — from quick portraits to full-day sports coverage or family storytelling sessions.

7. What should we wear?

Wear what makes you feel good and represents you. I’m happy to offer advice on colors and coordination to help everything photograph beautifully.

8. Can we bring props or pets?

Yes! Props and pets are always welcome — just give me a heads-up in advance.

9. When will I receive my photos?

You’ll receive your edited photo gallery within 2 weeks of your session via a secure online link.

10. How many photos will I get?

You’ll receive between 30 and 200+ high-resolution edited images, depending on the session type.

PRICING & PAYMENT

11. How much do sessions cost?

Sessions start at £100. Custom quotes are available for extended or specialty shoots.

12. Do you require a deposit?

Yes, a £25 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due on or before the session date.

13. Do you offer prints or albums?

Yes, prints up to A3 are available son I will work with you to design an album / Picture book for your needs

14. Can I get the raw (unedited) files?

I don’t provide raw files. All delivered images are carefully edited in line with my candid, documentary style.

15. Do you offer payment plans?

Yes — payment plans are available for longer or full-day sessions. Just ask when booking.

DELIVERABLES & LICENSING

16. How will I receive my photos?

You’ll get a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your images with ease.

17. Can I post the photos on social media?

Absolutely! I’d love for you to share your photos. Please tag me: @jacob.jepps.

18. Can I use the images for commercial purposes?
